Leeds Beckett University is a UK-leading University on the northern side of Leeds. With over 24,000 students, Leeds Beckett University is a well-established and recognised University with 3 main campuses and 54 campus buildings including the Old Broadcasting House which was the former home of the BBC.

Project services

This contract is comprised of the inspection and testing of fixed electrical installations and low voltage networks across Leeds Beckett University’s (LBU) 54 campus buildings. The campus buildings include, but are not limited to:

· Halls of residence

· Common spaces

· Lecture theatres

· Libraries

· Broadcast and Sports Centres

On this contract, we test approximately 7,500 circuits per year, updating and supplying the DB schedules, network diagrams and LV switch panel locations. Following each inspection, we issue LBU with a fully compliant Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR).

On the contract, we support LBU to gather relevant contract data by producing a quarterly report including, but not limited to:

· Number of Circuits inspected and tested

· Number of Certificates issued and buildings attaining “Satisfactory” status

· Number of Certificates issued and buildings attaining “Unsatisfactory” status

· Number of Minor Works undertaken

· Number of Minor Works completed

· Number of Minor Works outstanding

· Percentage of works completed to schedule

· Percentage of works failed to complete to schedule

· Issues arising affecting compliance with schedule

· Any other business affecting the contract
